Dear Parents,

Mid-trimester reports were sent home on the 17th.  Please be sure you sign your child's and return the bottom of it to me. 

In February we are taking an all school field trip to College of DuPage to see the play Willy Wonka.  Permission forms were sent home, please be sure and return them by the 25th.

Our next sight word test will be on February 1st.  The words are:  where, there, here, two, and us.

Our 100th Day of school celebration will be on Monday the 6th. The PTL Fun Fair is on the 11th. There is no school on the 20th as we are off for President's Day. Report Cards will be sent home on the 21st. Followed by Parent/Teacher Conferences on the 23rd and 24th. Before you know it will be March and this is a very busy month.

Students are suppose to have a pair of gym shoes that are to be left at school for P.E. and recess. When they are left at school, you do not have to send a second pair for them when they wear boots or other shoes that are not allowed on the gym floor. Please be sure your child has everything they need to play outside next week. If the weather is warm enough we will go outside and play in the snow, if it is still here. Boots, hats, gloves, scarfs, snow pants, and extra socks. If they do not have snow pants, some type of weather proof pants that will keep them dry.
