JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL BEGINS

This will be a very special and unique year at Immanuel for JV basketball.  Due to a numbers crunch, third and fourth graders were invited to play.  The response was awesome. 

These young Cardinals have been hard at work preparing for the upcoming season.  This past week was the first time that the fifth and sixth graders were at practice with the third and fourth graders.  After a short feeling out process, it was back to business as usual.  Basic skills continue to be reinforced and more time was devoted to teamwork.  Defensive strategies were implemented and the basic offense was explained.

With the completion of each practice, you can see that the Cardinals are becoming more comfortable and confident in their abilities and in themselves.
