Confirmation Class is for Seventh and Eighth grade students who wish to become Confirmed members of Immanuel Lutheran Congregation.
Classes are meeting on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30 P.M. for an hour.
Confirmation is a program where young people learn the major teachings of the Lutheran Church. One year they will learn the seven chief parts of the Lutheran faith as contained in Dr. Martin Luther's Small Catechism. The other year they will spend time reading and discussing some of the key Biblical Events. In addition to classroom meetings the young people involved in this program will be required to participate in worship activities, do memory work and service projects.
If you have a seventh or eighth grader who is interested in becoming a confirmed member of Immanuel please contact Pastor Vratny. Parents and students will be invited to an orientation session in late August.
Classes start Wed September 14 at 6:30 pm.
