Confirmation Class is for Seventh and Eighth grade students who wish to become Confirmed members of Immanuel Lutheran Congregation.

Classes are meeting on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:30 P.M. for an hour.  

Confirmation is a program where young people learn the major teachings of the Lutheran Church. One year they will learn the seven chief parts of the Lutheran faith as contained in Dr. Martin Luther's Small Catechism.  The other year they will spend time reading and discussing some of the key Biblical Events.  In addition to classroom meetings the young people involved in this program will be required to participate in worship activities, do memory work and service projects.

If you have a seventh or eighth grader who is interested in becoming a confirmed member of Immanuel please contact Pastor Vratny.

Confirmation will start again in the fall.  If you have a student who will be a 7th grader this fall and would like to have them confirmed in the Lutheran Faith, please contact Pastor Ted.  There are summer assignments that will prepare the student for the beginning of the sessions this fall.
